Kathy Andrews

Kathy Andrews, Treasurer and Business Manager. Kathy works part time with CSS managing the financial and business operations. She also assists with the finance and business management aspects of Charter School Solution’s consulting services. In addition to her work with CSS Kathy formerly served as CFO for the Neighborhood Charter School and presently serves as Business Manager for NCS and the Atlanta Charter Middle School.

As Business Manager for NCS and ACMS Kathy is or has been responsible for working with the Treasurer to create a monthly budget for the next fiscal year, maintaining banking relationships, working with the auditors and accountants, obtaining appropriate insurance coverage, managing accounts payable, maintaining the buildings, and orchestrating the process of obtaining financing for the successful purchase of a school facility for ACMS. As a parent, she has been actively involved in the NCS PTCA, serving as an officer for the 2004, 2005 and 2006 school years.

Prior to joining the NCS team Kathy worked at Wachovia Bank for 15 years as a Relationship Manager in the US Corporate division and Corporate Sales Manager in the Treasury Services division. She graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine and received her MBA in finance from Emory University in Atlanta in 1989.
