New Options in Governance Training

For years CSS has offered governance training to our clients.  Recently we have upgraded this service to include two types of training.  Our basic “Charter School Governance” covers many of the basic issues that all charter school governing boards need to be up to speed on (open meetings/public records requirements; understanding school budget documents; evaluating and supporting the school leader; understanding the difference between governance and management; etc.).

In addition to our more basic training, we now offer “Governing for Excellence” training.  This training is for more experienced schools and/or boards.  It hits the highlights of basic governance issues and then goes deeper into  the ways that charter school leadership (board and administration) can work together to take the charter school to higher levels of operational and student success.  For more information about both types of governance training click here.
